Wastoid is a gonzo, post-apocalyptic RPG built on the rules for Knave. The rules are pretty quick and simple—but even so, at over 80 pages, it's still a work in progress. If you happen to get this preview to the table with some other adventure, please let me know how it goes! I could especially use feedback on how players feel about character creation, and how the "tricks" work in play.

My schedule was thrown off a bit by getting COVID, and suffering from lingering effects in the weeks to follow, but I wanted to post an update for the Gonzo Post-Apocalyptic OSR Jam (a jam that may sound suspiciously perfect for this game). This new preview features…

• Faction rules and sample factions

I have a lot more than that in my Affinity Publisher file, but that's the stuff that's pretty much done. I still need to finish up many pages of wasteland denizens and encounters, tips for prepping adventures, and a sample setting with some maps and adventure options. That'll likely take me awhile with how my health has been lately, but I intend to keep chipping away at it whenever I'm able. Thanks to everyone for sending well-wishes and encouragement my way as I've been working on this game and recovering from COVID; it really helps.
